Introduction

Women’s health is not one appointment. It is a relationship.

Some visits are routine — a screening, a cycle that has changed, a question you have been putting off. Some are the beginning of something much larger. Our gynaecology department handles both with the same care, and with a doctor who remembers your history.

Consultations are unhurried and private.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I need a referral to see a gynaecologist?

That depends on your insurance plan: some plans ask for a GP referral before a specialist visit. Send the front desk a photo of your card and they will tell you before you book. If you are self-paying, you can book with the department directly.

What should I bring to my first gynaecology appointment?

Your original Emirates ID, your insurance card if you have one, and any previous reports, scan results or prescriptions.

Will my consultation be private?

Yes. Consultations take place in a private room, and what you discuss stays between you and your doctor.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. You are welcome to bring your husband, a family member or a friend into the consultation if you would prefer.

Is antenatal care covered by insurance?

Maternity coverage varies significantly between policies. Send your insurance details to the front desk on WhatsApp before booking and they will confirm what your plan covers.
