Introduction

The same treatments, in a medical centre, after a doctor has looked at your skin.

Aesthetic treatment is widely available in Dubai. What is less widely available is aesthetic treatment that begins with a medical assessment, sits under the same roof as a dermatology department, and is declined when it is not the right answer.

That is the distinction here. Every treatment starts with a consultation about your skin — its condition, its history, and whether the result you want is realistically achievable. Sometimes the honest answer is that a medical treatment should come first.

Why this department

What patients notice.

Assessed medically

A doctor examines your skin before any treatment is offered — including the option of not treating it.

Dermatology in-house

If a condition needs medical treatment first, that department is in the same building.

Realistic expectations

You are told what a treatment will and will not do, and how many sessions it genuinely takes.

No pressure to buy

Consultations are consultations. If a treatment is not right for you, we say so.

Treatment approach

How a visit actually goes.

01

Consult

History, examination and the questions that narrow it down.

02

Diagnose

Tests or imaging only where they will change the plan.

03

Plan

Options explained with what each involves and how long it takes.

04

Treat

Treatment appropriate to the diagnosis, explained clearly.

05

Follow up

A scheduled recheck so nothing is left to assumption.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. Every aesthetic treatment here starts with a skin consultation. It is how we establish what will work and rule out anything that should be treated medically first.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends entirely on the treatment and your skin. You will be given a realistic number at the consultation rather than after the first session.

Is there downtime?

It varies by treatment — some have none, others need a few days. Your doctor will tell you exactly what to expect before you book the appointment.

Is aesthetic treatment covered by insurance?

Cosmetic treatment is generally not covered by insurance. Medical dermatology often is. The front desk can confirm which category your treatment falls into.

What if the treatment I want is not right for me?

We will tell you. Being talked out of a treatment that will not deliver what you want is a better outcome than paying for one that does not.
